Futures markets suggest ASX will rally more than 1%

While the S&P ASX 200 shed 1% to close at 5497 points on Friday, this still represented a promising week-on-week performance with the XJO up 1.7%.

The ASX SPI200 futures is up 109 points this morning after strong gains in the US and Europe and strength in commodity prices.
